We Will Go – New Wine Summer Collection

A4 Print of the New Wine Summer Collection – We Will Go’ was painted during our time in the Impact Tent at New Wine United 2017. What an experience.  There’s a funny story about this painting, if you ever see me, ask me about it.

The image of the two of them under the umbrella was a regular scene at New Wine this year. I felt prompted to paint it after asking God for a picture for the morning service.  During the talk, Helen, preached about ‘going’ We must go to the one. Whoever it is, wherever we are, we must GO. It is the great commission, which was not a suggestion.

As I finished the piece off – I felt to add the final touch which was- We Will Go.

Here we are Lord, send us. Here we are Lord, normal, everyday people, send us. Here we are Lord… caught in life’s everyday struggles, but here we are Lord, send us.  The willingness to go and the obedience to act is powerful. He is looking for those who will take the Kingdom out to the world. He is looking for you to do what you’re commissioned to do. Lord, We Will Go.
